Elba Island is an Italian island located in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Renowned for its beaches, it was also Napoleon's land of exile in 1814-15. In the town of Portoferraio, in the north of the island, the national museum of the Residences of Napoleon retraces the life of the French emperor on the island. To the east, the Rio Marina Mineralogy Museum offers reconstructions of mining environments
