Douglas DC-3 - TAP Transportes Aéreos Portugueses

TAP, then called Transportes Aéreos Portugueses, started flying the DC-3 towards the end of the war, and it flew the then world´s longest route, "The imperial route", flying from Lisbon to Maputo and connecting Portugal, Angola and Mozambique, one of the most challenging routes of the era. A total of 8 aircraft flew in TAP service from 1945 until 1963, and the version here depicted shows the livery used during 1947. The interior was completely done according the "TDA" that was restored recently and is now on display in the Museu do Ar in Sintra, there´s a virtual museu visit available here: https://museudoar.pt/pagina-001.009.002-museu-do-ar-sintra This project includes not only the detailed exterior of a rare livery, but also a complete cabin matching the preserved state of the "TDA" in Sintra, as well as the radio/navigator cabin and the complete cockpit, including every detail seen in the plates, labels, overhead, with the objective to bring to the simulator as much detail of this unique bird as possible. Includes also a ducworks version wich should match the correct overhead switches.
