Matsue city

Matsue is the capital of Shimane Prefecture, formerly part of the former Izumo Province, located in the Chūgoku region on the west coast of the island of Honshū, Japan. The city of Matsue is located in the northeast of Shimane Prefecture, on the island of Honshū, Japan. The prefectural capital is bordered by the Sea of Japan to the north and Lake Shinji to the east.
