Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee, Austria

Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee in Upper Austria is a municipality in the Salzkammergut region located near Lake Hallstatt. Bad Goisern is located 500 m above sea level in the Traunviertel and the municipality is surrounded by the Dachstein mountains. It stretches 18.8 km from north to south, and 13.6 km from west to east. The total area is 112.6 km2. 67.2% of the area is forested and 12.4% is used for agriculture.
