Zuliana Airlines MD-82

Zuliana de Aviación is a defunct Venezuelan airline. In its beginnings it was a cargo airline with hub operations in Maracaibo,1 but later it began to offer passenger transportation services to destinations within and outside the country. Its name was derived from the Venezuelan state of Zulia. During its service, it incorporated aircraft such as Boeing 727s and DC-8s to its fleet, although its last aircraft were 5 McDonnell-Douglas DC-9-30s. The airline ceased operations in 1997, and its fleet was completely retired in 2002.
