Real Madrid "La Saeta" 4K MD-83
La Saeta was the private aircraft of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol in 2007 and 2008, for the travels of both the first soccer team and the basketball team, being the first aircraft specifically designed for such trips. The plane was obtained thanks to an agreement with the airline Swiftair and was baptized with the name "La Saeta" in honor of the former football player and Honorary President of the club, Alfredo Di Stéfano. The inaugural flight, which took place on September 2, 2007, took the Madrid expedition to Rome, where the team played a Champions League match. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Di Stéfano himself in a ceremony attended by the captains of the club's soccer and basketball sections: Raúl González, Iker Casillas, "Guti" and "Míchel" Salgado representing the soccer team, and Louis Bullock and Felipe Reyes for the basketball team.
