Asahikawa

Asahikawa is a city located in Kamikawa Subprefecture on the island of Hokkaidō, Japan. It is the sub-prefectural capital and the second largest city of Hokkaido, after the prefectural capital, Sapporo. Since April 1, 2000, Asahikawa has been a core city in Japan.
