INSEL AIR OLD MD-82 PJ-MDC
Insel Air was a private initiative of various business and financial institutions who felt that the (then) Netherlands Antilles needed its own airline for regional flights at reasonable prices. It was eventually established in 1993, but operations did not begin until August 2006 with an Embraer 110-P1 Bandeirante with daily flights from Curaçao to the neighboring island of Aruba. This was followed by flights to the other neighboring island of Bonaire. Since January 2007, Insel Air has been connecting the northern and eastern islands via Sint Maarten.
