Verkehrslandeplatz Gera-Tinz (1926-1936)

From 1926 until 1935 or 1936 the aiport for the German city of Gera was situated in the district of Tinz with the administration building (with restaurant) within the town perimeter of Langenberg which is now part of Gera. It was connected to the early Lufthansa routes and as such was part of the line Berlin - Leipzig - Gera - Plauen.
