Futura was a spanish airline headquartered in Palma de Mallorca. It was founded in 1989 by Aer Lingus and bought by an Spanish investment group in 2002. It became one of Europe's biggest charter airlines by the time. It's fleet consisted on the 737 family (-300/-400/-800/-900ER) becoming the first european airline to operate the B737-900ER.
