Lübeck [High detail]

Lübeck is a city located in northern Germany. Its brick Gothic architecture dates back to when Lübeck was the medieval capital of the Hanseatic League (a powerful trading confederation). Symbol of the city, the red brick gate of Holstein defended the Altstadt (old town), surrounded by a river.
