Rostock, historic port of the Hansa, is today a city-district in northern Germany. It is the largest city in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Rostock occupies the mouth of the Warnow River. Rostock is located practically in the center of the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
