ZJHK Haikou Meilan Ineternational Airport
Haikou meilan airport, abbreviated as meilan airport, is a 4F-class civil transport airport and one of the important domestic trunk airports in China. It was officially opened to traffic on May 25th, 1999. [1] The airport covers an area of 1,140 hectares (including Meilan Phase II), the flight zone is 4F, and the runway of the airport is 3,600 meters long and 45 meters wide. The parallel taxiway is 3600 meters long and 23 meters wide, which can meet the requirements of full-weight take-off and landing of large aircraft such as Boeing 747-400. The existing terminal building in meilan airport has a total scale of nearly 150,000 square meters, with a total area of 790,000 square meters (including the two aviation bases) and 67 platform seats. It is the first airport in China to have duty-free shops on outlying islands and to pass the "APEX Excellent Airport Security" certification. It has won the ASQ "Best Airport in the World" award for two consecutive years with the first place in the same size group, and has won many domestic and foreign service awards such as ASQ Best Scientific Sample Award, National Customer Satisfaction Enterprise, and "China Service" Top 500 Enterprise.
