The Hague is a city located on the North Sea coast in the western part of the Netherlands. Its Gothic-style Binnenhof (or inner courtyard) is the seat of the country's parliament, and the 16th-century Noordeinde Palace houses the king's study. The city is also known as the seat of the United Nations International Court of Justice, housed in the Peace Palace, and the International Criminal Court.
