Die Beechcraft Super King Air 350C HB-GII wurde am 30.11.1993 vom Schweizer Bundesamt für Landestopografie swisstopo als Vermessungsflugzeug in Betrieb genommen. Sie ersetzte die nur zivil als HB-GCB immatrikulierte Rockwell Grand Commander 680FL. Die Super King Air ist mit zwei Präzisions-Luftbildkameras und GPS-Navigation ausgestattet. Eingesetzt wird sie vornehmlich zur Landvermessung auf konstanter Höhe. Seit Herbst 2004 ist sie mit Kennung T-721 der Schweizer Luftwaffe versehen und auch heute noch in Betrieb. The Beechcraft Super King Air 350C HB-GII was put into operation on November 30, 1993 by the Swiss Federal Office of Topography swisstopo as a survey aircraft. It replaced the Rockwell Grand Commander 680FL, only civilly registered as HB-GCB. The Super King Air is equipped with two precision aerial cameras and GPS navigation. It is primarily used for land surveying at a constant height. The Beechcraft Super King Air 350C HB-GII was put into operation on November 30, 1993 by the Swiss Federal Office of Topography swisstopo as a survey aircraft.
