Trans Canada Airlines 60th Anniversary 'retro' livery (1937 / 1997). This is the original Trans Canada retro livery with the lighter coloured Maple Leaf and what looks like a white BOAC 'Speedbird'. When it was repainted the Maple Leaf became a solid red and the 'Speedbird' became yellow. Fleet No: "264". Trans-Canada Air Lines (also known as TCA in English, and Trans-Canada in French) was a Canadian airline that operated as the country's flag carrier, with corporate headquarters in Montreal, Quebec. Its first president was Gordon Roy McGregor. Founded in 1937, it was renamed Air Canada in 1965.
