Emssperrwerk (River Ems Flood Barrier)

Handcraft scenery of the Ems flood barrier landmark near Emden & Leer, Germany. Good addition for VFR flying. Build between 1998 and 2002, it is used to protect from storm surges, and to dam up the Ems and raise its water if a cruise ship from Meyer Werft shipyards in Papenburg needs to be transitioned to the North Sea.
