Ingalls Field Airport is known as the highest airport in the US that is east of the Mississippi River. The airport is built on a ridgeline at an elevation of nearly 3800ft MSL. The runway is 5600x100ft / 1707x30m with an ILS approach for runway 25. The airport can support most GA aircraft up to medium sized turbo props and light to medium sized jets.
