DC-3 Finnish Airlines OH-LCH

This file contains a repaint of the Douglas DC-3 in the finnish airlines OH-LCH colours. OH-LCH was ordered by Panam and completed in 1942, but it never arrived to Panam. Since the plane was handed to the USAF to fight in the second world war. Later in 1948 the Finnish government bought the plane for Aero OY, which later became Finnar. In 1960 the aircraft was taken out of circulation and used for spare parts. Shortly after it was reassembled since Aero OY needed a freight aircraft. On 1st of April 1967 Aero flew its last dc-3 flight which was done with this exact aircraft.  In 1970 Finnair donated its DC-3s including OH-LCH to the Finnish airforcethere it got a new registration DO-11, later it was sold and its registration changed back to OH-LCH. Nowadays the Finnish DC Association owns the aircraft. OH-LCH is the only airworthy DC-3 in Finland.
