Bolzano (high- OP)
Bolzano is a city in the province of South Tyrol, northern Italy, located in a valley surrounded by hills covered with vineyards. It is a gateway to the chain of the Dolomites, in the Italian Alps. In the center of the medieval town, the South Tyrol Archaeological Museum houses the Neolithic mummy called Ötzi, the Iceman. Nearby are the imposing Mareccio castle, built in the 13th century, and the Duomo di Bolzano cathedral, with its Romanesque and Gothic architecture.
