Malcesine (plus surrounding)

Malcesine is an Italian town of about 3,500 inhabitants located in the province of Verona in Veneto. Malcesine (alt. 90 m) is located at the foot of the Monte Baldo range (alt. 2218 m) near Lake Garda, which it borders on its eastern shore (the Gardesana Orientale, or Riviera of Olives), s on a small promontory. Almost on the edge of the province of Trento, it was for a long time one of the northernmost outposts of the city of Verona, from which it is 54 km away.
