WF-12 Warfield-12 Väsby. My research suggests that Warfield 12 was initially provided with grass runways, but in the mid-1940s the airport was developed with permanent concrete runways. I have chosen to present the original design. In order to strengthen a weak air defense, a decision was made in 1939 to establish standby airfields in Sweden. A total of 39 war airfields were created between 1939 and 1945. BAS 40 was the name of the system.
