SwissMilSim Payerne Air Base (LSMP) Legacy

The Payerne Air Base has continuously developed into the main base and the spearhead of the Swiss Air Force. The Air Wing 11 (esca av 11) is responsible for operational missions and crew training in the field of air defense and air policing. It is responsible for the two aviation squadrons (esc av 17 and 18) operating F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.
