Honfleur CITY
Honfleur is a town in the Calvados department, belonging to Normandy, a region in northern France. It is located on the estuary of the Seine leading to the English Channel. The old basin (old port), lined with authentic houses dating from the 16th to the 18th century, inspired artists such as Claude Monet or Eugène Boudin, son of the city. Not far away is the 15th-century Church of St. Catherine, featuring a vaulted wooden structure erected by shipyard workers.
