Newcastle is the third-largest city in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, with a population of 414,996 citizens .Newcastle is also known as the "City of Opportunities"; the city is KwaZulu-Natal's industrial center. Newcastle was founded in 1864 and was named after the Earl of Newcastle, who was the Colonial Secretary in Queen Victoria’s Government at that time.
