Hatsukaichi, Itsukushima-jinja

Itsukushima Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Hatsukaichi on the island of Itsuku, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. This site has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1996. The Japanese government has designated several buildings and outbuildings as national treasures. The majority of the structure is lacquered in vermilion red.
