Conil de la Frontera is a city in Spain, in the province of Cadiz in Andalusia, on the Atlantic coast. Its population is approximately 21,000. The town has six beaches: Playa La Fontanilla, Playa El Roqueo (with a 1936 civil war bunker), Playa Fuente del Gallo, Playa Punta Lejos, Playa Cala del Aceite and Playa los Bateles. The last is the longest and most popular during the summer. Conil de la Frontera is above all a city for holidays where the majority of tourists are Spaniards, although we often hear German spoken as well.
