Tappan Zee Bridge, New York, USA

This new (2017) bridge replaces a deteriorating cantilever bridge that connected New York's Westchester and Rockland Counties since 1955.  The dual cable-stayed bridges and roadways extend more than three miles.  It is officially named The Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, but it's still The Tappan Zee Bridge or "The Tap" or "The 'Z' Bridge" to local pilots and motorists.
