KWVI - Watsonville Municipal Airport

This airfield is located in the Monterey Bay area at the southern end of Santa Cruz County, California. Watsonville is about 65 miles (105 km) south of San Francisco. The origins of this airfield were in the '40s when the US Navy opened the Naval Air Auxiliary Station Watsonville (NAAS Watsonville). The untowered airfield is now operated by the city of Watsonville since 1947.
