Ozark Airlines N953U MD-82 for the Fly the Maddog
Ozark Airlines was founded in Springfield Missouri, in the heart of the Ozarks. In the 1950s it moved its operations to St. Louis. N953U flew with Ozark until it was purchased in the 1980s along with the rest of Ozark Airlines by Trans World Airlines, or TWA. N953U then spent years in the TWA red and white, then the last colors of TWA and finished its life as a workhorse for American Airlines.
