Wedell-Williams model 44 XP-34 US Army

Repaint of the Wedell-Williams model 44 showcasing an imaginary version in US Army colors, inspired by the proposed XP-34 fighter aircraft design from 1935. Designed by renowned air racer Jimmy Wedell, the XP-34 aimed to achieve unprecedented speeds, prompting interest from the USAAC. Although initial plans featured a 700hp engine, a proposed upgrade to a more powerful 900hp engine was ultimately deemed impractical, leading to the projects cancellation. Created by Jan Kees Blom, this repaint offers a glimpse into the innovative aviation concepts of the 1930s.
