Maddog X Philippine Airlines "Super 80"

Philippine Air Lines (PAL) never operated Douglas DC-9s or McDonnell Douglas MD-80s. However, there are legitimate starting points that McDonnell Douglas exhausted their possibilities in the late 1970s/early 1980s to make the MD-80 (then presented in marketing as "Super 80" ) palatable to the PAL.
