Insel Air International B.V. (Insel Air) was an airline based in Maduro Plaza, Willemstad, Curaçao.12 Its base of operations was at Curaçao's Hato International Airport. Insel Air's logo includes a large and a small star, both in yellow representing Curaçao and Little Curaçao, which is a small nearby island belonging to Curaçao. On February 25, 2019 by means of a communiqué they suspended indefinitely all their operations after their last aircraft in use, a Fokker 50 presented technical failures,3 this, added to their many financial problems that led them to lose their Aeronautical Operator Certificate and enter bankruptcy.
