A great airport for a stop while traveling along the Hudson rIver. Like, you know… if it’s late at night during winter and your aircraft ices up…
Enhancements Hangars now look closer to real life Parking lot uncovered and fenced off, cars placed Airport perimeter fence installed Night lighting added to hangars Trees removed from infield Small and large ponds in radius near airport masked Large ponds in radius further from airport masked ~30km of prominent creek running west of the airport now masked, including tributary section to Hudson River Aircraft parking now sit over the Ts and face properly Several areas of forest have been filled in better Static aircraft parked on tarmac Ground merging removed from taxiways and runways so underlying taxi lines and runway markings do not bleed through
Fixes Displaced threshold for Rwy21 Taxi lines cleaned up and matching aerial photos Taxi lights no longer appear on taxiways Windsocks and beacon are now placed properly Rwy3 PAPI slope angle and position now proper Rwy21 PAPI added and set/positioned proper Building at SW end of airport removed and replace with proper hangar and tarmac Vegetation exclusion removed from runway so trees encroach properly Fuel station is no longer askew
Known Issues PAPI placement not exact as ground textures not high res enough to see them but based off aerial photo reference Taxi lighting is MSFS default and it sucks – I can’t manipulate it to a fine level like I could with FSX so lighting spacing and appearance is all over the place. One runway exit has a big gap in the middle although its got the same node placement as the rest soo.. I can’t remove the light balls yet Lack of taxi lights on the tarmac side are due to issues getting the lights to place properly and were just removed so no lights would cross taxiway intersections
