New White House Helipad (2026)

This add-on introduces the 2026 White House helipad, a permanent granite landing area with the presidential seal on the South Lawn in Washington, D.C. It accommodates the Sikorsky VH-92A Patriot, addressing operational challenges from helicopter heat and downwash on grass. The helipad supports ongoing presidential helicopter travel, a tradition since 1957. The update provides an authentic representation of this distinctive White House feature.
