WhirlWing is a standalone Windows application that generates flight ideas for Microsoft Flight Simulator, helping users rediscover both default and add-on airports in their collection. It suggests routes based on selected aircraft and desired flight duration, without using real-world airline schedules or routes. The tool scans installed scenery and aircraft, stores user preferences locally, and functions independently without modifying MSFS files. It is designed as a companion utility to inspire flight choices before starting the simulator.
