Repaint of the classic Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, featuring the iconic colors of Spitfire PR.XI N74138. Originally a reconnaissance aircraft for the RAF, this Spitfire was later owned by US Air Attaché Tony Satterthwaite in London. Known for its historical significance, this aircraft was flown by Lettice Curtis, one of the first female pilots with the ATA during WWII. Authentically restored, this Spitfire continues to captivate aviation enthusiasts, having recently flown as the Thank U NHS Spitfire. Crafted by Jan Kees Blom.
