Wurtz, Montana

This add-on recreates Wurtz airstrip in northern Montana, situated near the North Fork Flathead River close to Glacier National Park. The scenery reflects the airfield’s current neglected state, with a partially washed-out runway and encroaching brush. Historical features such as a 1991-era hangar and previously lost trees are included. Corrections to runway approach vegetation and shadow effects provide a more authentic experience of this rarely visited backcountry strip.
