48Y – Piney-Pinecreek Border Airport, Minnesota, USA and Manitoba, Canada (recently closed)

This add-on recreates the now-closed Piney-Pinecreek Border Airport (48Y), a unique binational facility formerly located on the US-Canada border between Minnesota and Manitoba. The scenery depicts the airport as it existed before its 2024 closure, with accurately modeled buildings, aprons, taxiways, fueling facilities, and lighting. Both American and Canadian ramps are included, along with realistic static aircraft and appropriate parking spots for general aviation. The airport utilizes the historical 122.8 MHz frequency for UNICOM and traffic communications.
