Aerodrome de Basankusu (FZEN) Democratic Republic of Congo

Basankusu Airfield (FZEN) is a remote dirt strip in Equateur Province, Democratic Republic of Congo, serving regional and bush propeller aircraft. The airfield is situated along the Lulonga River and acts as a supply point for local communities, as well as supporting bonobo conservation missions. There are no published instrument procedures, navigation aids, or official charts available. Operations are limited to VFR flights relying on visual navigation and local landmarks.
