Nelson Mtn, Alaska

Nelson Mountain is a challenging bush airstrip located at the confluence of the Tebay and Chitina Rivers in Alaska. The dirt and grass strip measures 425 feet and features surrounding scattered rocks and dramatic scenery. This location, ICAO N795, offers pilots a short takeoff and landing experience amid impressive cliffs and vistas. Positioned about 20 miles west of Nzina's End, it provides an authentic Alaskan backcountry landing site.
