Aeroporto de Salgueiro-PE (SNSG) is a newly renovated airport located in the Central Sertão region of Pernambuco. With a runway measuring 1040 x 30 meters, it has undergone significant changes after being closed for over a decade. Its strategic position near the BR116 highway and the junction with BR232 facilitates access to both the Sertão and coastal areas. The airport serves as a crucial hub for local infrastructure projects, including the Transnordestina Railway and the São Francisco River Transposition project.
