Tunnel Meadows Airport, CA
Tunnel Meadows Airport is a former general aviation backcountry airstrip situated at a high elevation of 9100 feet in Californias Sierra Nevada Mountains. Established in 1931 and operational until the early 1980s, this 2100-foot unpaved dirt runway offers a unique challenge for pilots due to its location within the Golden Trout Wilderness. The add-on recreates this historic airport, providing an opportunity for takeoffs and landings in a scenic mountain environment. Note that Emerald Scenery Designs "Emerald Object Library" is required for proper functionality.
