You can open the doors to the barn and toggle the lights. There are two versions of each house, once as farmhouse with spawn point in front of the door, once as “decoration” without spawnpoint. That way you can chose whether you want to use it as main house of a farm or just as an old house for decoration/shed usage somewhere.
