FS17 bizon z020 zagon The Bizon Z020 Zagon is the only half-height (pulled) combine harvester in the history of Polish mechanization. Here’s its brief history: Beginning (1970s): Poznań Harvesting Machine Factory (PFMŻ) designed it for smaller individual farms, for which the self-propelled Bizon Z056 was too large and too expensive. Design: The machine had no engine or steering wheels. The front of the combine was mounted directly on the tractor (hence the name “half-mounted”), which simultaneously pulled the machine and powered its mechanisms via the PTO shaft. Compatibility with Polish tractors: The Zagon was perfectly tailored to the power of the Ursus C-360 or C-355. The header width was just 2 meters, and the grain tank held about 1,200 liters. A short run: Mass production began at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s, but only about 200 units were built. Farmers at the time preferred to use larger Bizon harvesters from SKR tractors, so the Z020 project was quickly discontinued. Today, the original Bizon Zagon is a rarity in Polish fields and a massive collector’s item! However, this Bizon is a conversion from LS2015. Minor code and model changes have been made. It’s being released to you because there’s no such combine in Farming 17, and FS17 celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
