Прототипом создания Optimus Prime послужил вполне реальный тягач Western Star 5700. Надо признать, что новый грузовик по достоинству оценят даже те люди которые не является поклонниками Трансформеров, благодаря отточенной модели кузова и оригинальному салону. Такой грузовик трудно не заметить на дороги, со стороны можно подумать, что он создан для какого то авто шоу, низкая подвеска и обтекаемые черты сродни скоростному поезду, а не грузовику. Внешнего тюнинга на него практически нет, в прочим Optimus Prime от этого точно не страдает, зато в мастерской вы найдете 21 двигатель с различными характеристиками и около 10 коробок передач.
