Iberia (IATA code: IB; ICAO code: IBE) is the Spanish national airline. It operates domestic and international flights from its hub at Madrid-Barajas International Airport. Iberia was partially privatized in 1999, private Spanish companies acquired 30%, British Airways acquired 9%, American Airlines acquired 1% and were grouped within the Oneworld alliance.
